Taryn Rosenquist began her musical studies at the age of 5 when she began taking piano lessons from her preschool teacher, Miss Mary. At age 10, she started violin and has been hooked ever since! Her over 30 years of musical experience ranges from playing in blues and folk bands and underscoring for theater productions, to opera singing, chamber music, and symphony orchestras. Recent collaborations include: North State Symphony, Rogue Valley Symphony, Solano Symphony, Kishi Bashi, The Redding Performing Arts Center, New Stages Theater Company, numerous wedding gigs and sacred music at churches throughout the North State and, last but not least, Shasta Symphony!

In addition to performing, Taryn has been a positive and encouraging educator for over 16 years and currently maintains a studio of both online and in-person students for piano, violin, voice, and composition. Taryn also loves arranging and producing her own original music and “cover songs”. You can find many of her arrangements on YouTube!  @taryn-rosenquist
